All That Jazz is more than just a dance studio, it is a community. Not only is the instruction excellent, but Deb Vogel and the other teachers have truly succeeded in creating an environment where dancers of all abilities can feel joyous, confident and elegant in the skin they are in. How can a parent not feel great about sending her tween or teen daughter to a place where, above the door it says, "Dance as if no one is watching!" All That Jazz is a gem.

This is
my annual “what a great recital!” letter. Last year I was blown away by
the recital because I hadn’t fully taken in what a huge operation All That Jazz
was. I was so impressed by the crowd control for the show, as well as the
level of performance that you and the other teachers coaxed out of all those
kids.
This year
I was prepared—and I enjoyed it just as much, maybe even more. I have
realized that what I like (besides all those endearing, happy, energetic girls)
is the *kind* of dancing you teach and do. It seems so much more full of
life, so much more of today’s world, than any form of ballet. I sit there
feeling uplifted and come out feeling energized.
So—congratulations
to you all… I assure you that a
good time was had by all!

"I'm so glad that my parents started me at All That Jazz. I couldn't imagine a better place to learn how to dance. You're so full of energy, kindness and passion and I have loved coming to your classes every week. Thank you so much for everything you have done for me and all of your students. I hope to live in Newton when I grow up so that I can send my kids to All That Jazz!"

"All That Jazz is so instrumental in why I fell in love with dance. The concept of dancing because it makes you happy and it connects you to people and not making everyone fit into a specific dancer-mold is part of why dancing keeps me sane--dancing really is about smiling and having fun. At it's best, it also makes other people smile and have fun.
As I've been in charge of Colby College Dancers, I've worked really hard--and think I've succeeded-- to bring the amazing "smile and have fun" community that I felt at ATJ to Colby Dancers... I want to say thanks for everything and to let you know how much of an impact you and All That Jazz have had on my life, even 4 years out. I know dance will be a part of my life forever and have you to thank for that."
