By the end of this week, every single one of my teachers will have gotten at least one dose of a vaccine! I have been anxiously awaiting the day when I could write those words and it is finally here. Four of the seven of us are already fully vaccinated, including me. By the end of April vacation, my entire staff will have received both shots.
I know how hard the vaccination process has been and we are all so grateful that we can take this final step to protect ourselves, our families and loved ones, as well as our dancers. I am not going to lie and say that knowing the adults in the room are now vaccinated isn’t a huge relief. However, we are not letting up on our safety measures during classes or relaxing any of our cleaning procedures. And, we still need our dance families to remain vigilant. The staff is still only one piece in our dance studio puzzle.
Bottom line, this is really great news for our entire dance family. We can see a light at the end of the tunnel. I hope that hearing this news can bring parents another layer of reassurance that we are doing everything possible to keep your children safe and healthy.
